Jonathan White | Co-Owner
In 2016, Jonathan White was asked by a friend to DJ her wedding. She didn’t ask him by accident — she asked because she knew he was the kind of person who loved to dance, bring energy to a room, and help people feel comfortable having fun.
Jonathan had no formal DJ experience and didn’t own any equipment at the time. The couple provided everything needed, and Jonathan showed up ready to serve. The night unfolded exactly as hoped — people danced, laughed, and stayed on the floor longer than anyone expected.
After another event for a friend, the groom’s father called Jonathan and shared something he’ll never forget: he hadn’t expected anyone to dance that night, and if Jonathan ever wanted to do more events, he told him to give his name out as a reference.
Jonathan purchased his first DJ system thinking he might do 5–10 events a year. Instead, demand continued to grow — especially for clean, high-energy wedding and event DJ services in South Carolina.
Jonathan grew up in Cheraw, SC and now lives in Little River, SC with his wife Candace and their two-year-old son, Beau.

As the business grew, Jonathan realized Joyful Entertainment needed another leader to help serve clients well and maintain high standards.
After moving to the Myrtle Beach area in 2017, Jonathan met Johnathan Foster at church, where Foster was leading kids ministry. It quickly became clear that he had a natural ability to connect with people, communicate clearly, and lead a room with confidence and care.
Johnathan Foster brought strong MC skills, leadership, and character — making him the perfect partner to help grow Joyful Entertainment in a healthy, sustainable way.
Johnathan is from Anderson, SC and now lives in Myrtle Beach, SC with his wife Kami and their four children — Ruston, Olive, Copper, and Ivory.
